Respect the JHOPDC Community

R-E-S-P-E-C-T. Find out what it means to me.
Being a productive part of any community means demonstrating a level of trust. That means if it’s your turn to wash the dishes, your roommates better find the dinner plates clean and ready for them. Online communities are no different, and everyone depends on the next guy to be trustworthy and dependable. We’ll start off by trusting you with a JHOPDC account. Please use it responsibly.

Don’t Cross the Line

Here are some common-sense rules that will help you steer clear of any trouble:

• The JHOPDC website is all about prayer. Everything you post should be in the form of a prayer for the person you’ve chosen. This is NOT an opportunity to preach, rant, curse or otherwise be annoying.
• JHOPDC is not the place to have a dialogue or conversation with other users. Just pray.
• JHOPDC is not the place to use vulgar language or curse words.
• Don’t even think about posting any content that could be construed as predatory behavior, stalking, threatening, harassment, intimidation, invasion of privacy or inciting others to commit violent acts. Terms of Use are taken very seriously. Anyone caught doing these things may be permanently banned from JHOPDC.
• JHOPDC is not for pornography or sexually explicit content. If this describes your text or video don't post it on JHOPDC.
• JHOPDC will not permit hate speech which attacks or demeans a person based on race or ethnic origin, disability, gender, age, veteran status, etc.
• Respect copyright. Only upload videos that you made or that you are authorized to use. This means don't upload videos you didn't make, or use content in your videos that someone else owns the copyright to, such as music tracks, snippets of copyrighted programs, or videos made by other users, without necessary authorizations.

Please take these rules seriously and take them to heart. Don't try to look for loopholes or try to wiggle your way around the guidelines—just understand them and try to respect the spirit in which they were created. JHOPDC is for the Community

Remember that this is your community! Each and every user of JHOPDC makes the site what it is, so use it a lot and use it often.

• Have fun with the site and explore. There's a lot to see here, and it changes every day.
• Live, learn and grow. A big part of learning how to pray effectively involves listening and being around others that pray. This site was created to help foster our universal call to prayer for our governmental leaders.
• You may not like everything you see. Some of the content here may even offend you. Just respect everyone else’s desire to pray, and add your voice to the overall mix. If you find something that you think violates our Terms of Use, then click the “Flag” button under the posting to submit it for review by the JHOPDC staff.

We Enforce These Guidelines

Okay, this one is more about us than you. JHOPDC staff review flagged content to determine whether they violate our Community Guidelines. When they do, we remove them. Sometimes you may not personally agree with another user’s posting, but it may or may not violate our Community Guidelines. Accounts are penalized for Community Guideline violations and serious or repeated violations can lead to account termination. If your account is terminated, you won’t be allowed to create any new accounts.
